Seasons greetings to all!
The holidays always seem to sneak up on me, it never fails. Nonetheless, despite the rapid timing of everything I always make the best of it. I guess the weeks for me simply fly by and in the blink of an eye the holiday is here.
In the past, Hubbs and I for Thanksgiving would go to my family’s home following Christmas; we went around being imitations of Santa (as jolly as jolly can be).
Over the years the holidays were pretty rough for me for many childish reasonings but has since then been improving as the years go on. In speaking of presence, we have been blessed w/ an added addition to our family, our baby boy Elijah Ohmari Hendricks.
With a new edition added, we (Hubbs and I) sat down, prayed, and decided that we needed to attempt by all means necessary to bring the holidays as they used to be years ago to the American people. Now I don’t know if you have noticed but I certainly have; the holidays have changed over the past few years.
Laughter, friends, family, pictures, food, memories, time away from work to spend at your own leisure to name a few are definitely things we decided to bring back in raising our son. Togetherness is what we hope to instill in our prince outlining that it’s good to give as much as you receive if not more. We often tend to forget how fortunate we are as human beings, with the lives that we live. Good fortune doesn’t just come from luck it comes from actions and choices we make.
2013 to me will be here in little to no time. I know (know because if I believe, think, and feel… Then I will attract it in my universe) that GOD has something wonderful for me. I look forward in continuing to learn through trial in error while asking that I gain patience and understanding. I ask that 2013 brings me wealth, longevity, and good health. I look forward to the continued protection of my friends and family both near and far. I ask that 2013 assists me with my punctuality and planning; continuing with standing tall and rising through every obstacle set forth.

Wishing my family, friends, acquaintances, a nice holiday to come… Enjoy!
